armandrotatetheballjointinoroutuntilthecorrect

nutatthistime.

andangenuts(7/16inches).Positiontheatwashers
totheoutsideofthecastorarm.
6.Tightenthelargejamnutsecuringtheballjointtothe
pusharm(Figure6).Whentighteningthejamnut,hold
theballjointstraighttopermitproperoscillationduring
raisingandloweringofthecuttingunit.Carefully
removethewoodblockholdingthepusharmdown.

Anotherpersonisneededtopushthearmdown
duringthisprocedure.
1.Removethe2capscrews,atwashers,andangenuts
securingtheleft-handballjointmountandchain
brackettotheleft-handcastorarm(Figure7).Remove
theballjointmountandchainbracket.
2.Removethecotterpinandcastlenutsecuringthe
left-handballjointmounttotheleft-handpusharmon
thetractionunit.Installtheballjointmount(removed
fromthecastorarm)tothepusharmwiththecastle
nutandcotterpinpreviouslyremoved(Figure7).
3.Measurethedistancefromtheendoftheleft-hand
pusharmtothecenteroftheballjoint(greasetting)
(Figure7).Thedistanceshouldbe64mm(2-1/2
inches).Ifthedistanceisnot64mm(2-1/2inches),
loosenthejamnutsecuringtheballjointtothepush
armandrotatetheballjointinoroutuntilthedistance
isattained(Figure7).Donottightenthejamnutat
thistime.
