Theseatswitchnormallyopenandcloseswhentheoperatorisontheseat.If
thetractionsystemorPTOswitchisengagedwhentheoperatorraisesoutof
theseat,theengineshutsoff.Theseatswitchanditselectricalconnectorare
locateddirectlyundertheseat.Testingoftheswitchcanbedonewithoutseat
removalbydisconnectingtheseatwirefromthemachinewireharness.
TheElectronicControlUnit(ECU)monitorstheoperationoftheseatswitch.
TestingtheSeatSwitch
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthecuttingdeck,settheparking
brake,andshutofftheengine.
2.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisintheOFFposition.Locatetheswitchfor
testing.
