What to do if my Toro Snow Blower runs but doesn't discharge snow?
    • C
      Christina GomezSep 4, 2025
If your Toro Snow Blower runs but isn't discharging snow effectively, ensure the throttle is in the Fast position and that you are not moving too quickly for the snow conditions. Avoid trying to remove too much snow in one pass or dealing with extremely heavy, wet snow. Check for and clear any blockages in the discharge chute. Also, the auger/impeller drive belt may be loose, off the pulley, worn, or broken. Shift the machine into a lower gear, reduce the amount of snow per swath, and unclog the discharge chute. If the belt is the problem, it may need adjustment or replacement.

What causes a Toro 37797 Snow Blower to not clear snow properly?
    • R
      Robert MoralesSep 2, 2025
If your Toro Snow Blower isn't clearing snow effectively, the skids and/or scraper might need adjustment, or the tire pressure could be uneven. Adjust the skids and/or the scraper. Check and adjust the pressure in 1 or both tires.

How to fix a Toro Snow Blower that runs rough?
    • C
      Christopher MiddletonAug 31, 2025
A rough-running Toro Snow Blower can stem from a few issues. The choke might be in the ON position, the fuel-shutoff valve might not be fully open, or the fuel could be stale. A loose spark-plug wire, a faulty spark plug, or incorrect engine-oil level can also contribute. To resolve this, move the choke to the OFF position. Open the fuel-shutoff valve. Drain and fill the fuel tank with fresh fuel (not more than 30 days old). Connect the wire to the spark plug. Check the spark plug and adjust the gap if necessary. Replace the spark plug if it is pitted, fouled, or cracked. Add or drain oil to adjust the oil level in the engine crankcase to the Full mark on the dipstick.

What to do if Toro 37797 Snow Blower discharges snow poorly?
    • S
      smithmicheleAug 30, 2025
If your Toro Snow Blower runs but doesn't discharge snow well, the throttle might not be in the FAST position, or you may be moving too quickly. Trying to clear too much or very heavy snow can also cause this. Check for a plugged discharge chute, a loose or broken auger/impeller drive belt. To fix this, move the throttle to the FAST position. Shift the machine into a lower gear. Reduce the amount of snow removed per swath and avoid overloading the machine with extremely heavy or wet snow. Unclog the discharge chute.

Why won't my Toro Snow Blower engine start?
    • E
      edwardspatriciaAug 28, 2025
Several factors can prevent your Toro Snow Blower engine from starting. Ensure the key is in the On position, the choke is properly set, and the fuel shutoff valve is open. Also, check that the throttle is in the Fast position and that the fuel tank contains fresh gasoline. A loose spark plug wire, a faulty spark plug, a restricted fuel vent cap, or an improper engine oil level could also be the cause. To resolve this, insert the key, adjust the choke and throttle, open the fuel shutoff valve, use fresh fuel, secure the spark plug wire, inspect and possibly replace the spark plug, clear any vent restrictions, and ensure the engine oil level is correct.

What to do if my Toro Snow Blower is not throwing snow?
    • J
      Jacob SantosAug 27, 2025
If your Toro Snow Blower isn't discharging snow properly, ensure the throttle is in the FAST position when throwing snow. Try shifting the machine into a lower gear if you're moving too fast. Reduce the amount of snow you're trying to remove per swath, and avoid overloading the machine with extremely heavy or wet snow. Check for and clear any blockage in the discharge chute.

Why is my Toro Snow Blower engine running rough?
    • B
      Barbara LunaAug 25, 2025
If your Toro Snow Blower engine runs rough, first, ensure the choke is in the OFF position. Then, verify that the fuel-shutoff valve is completely open and that the fuel tank has fresh fuel. Also, check that the spark-plug wire is securely connected to the spark plug and inspect the spark plug itself for any damage, adjusting the gap if necessary. Finally, confirm that the engine-oil level is at the correct level.
