2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Checkthetirepressureofbothdrivetires;referto
CheckingtheTirePressure(page43).
5.Lowerthemowerdecktothe76mm(3inch)
height-of-cutposition.
Note:Theactualcuttingheightwillnotbeadjusted
untilthedeckhasbeenleveled;refertoMatchingthe
HeightofCut(page59).
6.Checkthedistancebetweentheswivels,measuringat
thecenteroftheswivels(center-to-centerlength)on
eachthreadedrod(Figure82).
Note:Ensurethatthelengthis49.5cm(19-1/2
inches)for91cm(36inch)mowerdecksand43.7cm
(17-3/16inches)for102cm(40inch)mowerdecks.
7.Loosenthejamnutsatthefrontswivel.
8.Usingthejamnuts,adjustthelengthofthethreaded
rodtoachievethecorrectdistance.
9.Tightenthejamnutsatthefrontswivel.
