DrivingtheMachine
Drivingthemachinebenetsfromanunderstanding
ofwhatzero-turn-radiusmowermeans.Thedrive
wheelsturnindependently,poweredbyhydraulic
motorsoneachaxle;henceonesidecanturnin
reversewhiletheotherturnsforwardcausingthe
machinetospinratherthanturn.Thisvastlyimproves
themachinemaneuverabilitybutmayrequiresome
adjustmentiftheoperatorisunfamiliar.

operatormaylosecontrolofthemachine
andcausepersonalinjuryordamagetothe
machine.

Thethrottlecontrolregulatestheenginespeedas
measuredinrpm(revolutionsperminute).Placingthe
throttlecontrolintheFASTpositioncanbebestfor
performance.Formostapplications,operatinginthe
full-throttlepositionisdesirable.
