•Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances(i.e.branches,
doorways,electricalwires)beforedrivingunderany
objectsanddonotcontactthem.
MaintenanceandStorage
•Disengagethedrives,settheparkingbrake,stopthe
engine,andremovethekeyordisconnectthesparkplug
wire.Waitforallmovementtostopbeforeadjusting,
cleaning,orrepairingthemachine.
•Cleananygrassanddebrisfromthecuttingunit,drives,
mufers,andenginetohelppreventres.Cleanupoil
orfuelspillage.
•Lettheenginecoolbeforestoringthemachine.
•Shutoffthefuelwhilestoringortransportingthe
machine.Donotstorefuelnearamesordrainfuel
indoors.
•Parkthemachineonlevelground.Settheparkingbrake.
Neverallowuntrainedpersonneltoservicethemachine.
•Usejackstandstosupportcomponentswhenrequired.
•Carefullyreleasethepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
•Disconnectthebatteryorremovethesparkplugwire

•Tiethemachinedownsecurelyusingstraps,chains,cable,
orropes.Bothofthefrontandrearstrapsshouldbe
directeddownandoutwardfromthemachine.
