EachHydraulicSystemFluidCapacity:1.5L(52oz)per
sidewithlterchange
CheckingtheHydraulicFluid
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthehydraulicuid
level.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,
andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Waitfortheengineandhydraulicsystemtocoolfor
10minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickisincorrectifyou
checktheoilwhenthemachineishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofthehydraulic
systemreservoirs(Figure81).
7.Remove1dipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir(Figure
81).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickintothe
reservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure81).
Note:Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowlypour
onlyenoughoilintothehydraulicreservoirtoraisethe
leveltothefullorHline.
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulicunits
withoil,asdamagemayoccur.Donotrunthe
machinewiththeoilbelowtheaddmark.
10.Installthedipstick.
11.Repeatprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.

systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
Makesurethatallhydraulicuidhoses
andlinesareingoodconditionandthatall
hydraulicconnectionsandttingsaretight
beforeapplyingpressuretothehydraulic
system.
