EachHydraulicSystemOilCapacity:52ounces(1.5l)per
sidewithlterchange
CheckingtheHydraulicOil
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthehydraulicoil
level.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controlleversto
theneutral-lockedposition,andsettheparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
4.Allowtheengineandhydraulicsystemtocoolfor10
minutes.
Note:Theoillevelonthedipstickwillbeincorrectif
theoilischeckedwhenthemachineishot.
5.Movetheseatforward.
6.Cleantheareaaroundthedipsticksofthehydraulic
systemreservoirs(Figure82).
7.Removeonedipstickfromthehydraulicreservoir
(Figure82).
8.Wipethedipstickoffandthreadthedipstickintothe
reservoir.
9.Removethedipstickandlookattheend(Figure82).
Note:Iftheoillevelisattheaddmark,slowlypour
onlyenoughoilintothehydraulicreservoirtoraisethe
leveltothefullorHline.
Important:Donotoverllthehydraulicunits
withoilasdamagemayoccur.Donotrunthe
machinewiththeoilbelowtheaddmark.
10.Installthedipstick.
11.Repeatprocedurefortheoppositedipstick.

systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
Makesurethatallhydraulicoilhosesand
linesareingoodconditionandthatall
hydraulicconnectionsandttingsaretight
beforeapplyingpressuretothehydraulic
system.
