ServiceInterval:Every200hours—Check,clean
andregapthesparkplug.
Ensurethattheairgapbetweenthecenterandside
electrodesiscorrectbeforeinstallingthesparkplug.
Useasparkplugwrenchforremovingandinstalling
thesparkplug(s)andagappingtool/feelergaugeto
checkandadjusttheairgap.Installanewspark
plug(s)ifnecessary.

Torque:24.4to29.8N-m(18to22ft-lb)
RemovingtheSparkPlug
1.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Removethelefthydraulic-unitshroudinthe
orderlistedwithFigure53.Thisgivesyou
accesstothefrontsparkplug.
