Important:Makesurethatthecuttingunit
spindlesarefullofgreaseweekly.
1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),move
themotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position,andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Greasethemower-deckidlerpulleypivotuntil
greasecomesoutthebottom(Figure48).
4.Ifyourmachinehasgreasablespindles,grease
the3spindlebearingsuntilgreasecomesout
thelowerseals(Figure48).
