Servicebrakingisachievedbythehydraulictransmission
system.Whentheforwardorreversetravelpedalsare
releasedortheenginespeedreduced,servicebraking
becomeseffectiveandtravelspeedisautomatically
reduced.Toincreasethebrakingeffect,pushthe
transmissionpedalintotheneutralposition.Service
brakingiseffectiveonthefrontwheelsonly.
WARNING
Theservicebrakingsystemwillnotholdthemower
atastandstill.ALWAYSensuretheparkingbrakeis
engagedtoparkthemoweratastandstill.
EmergencyBrake
Intheeventofservicebrakefailure,turntheignitionoff
tobringthemowertoastandstill.

ThrottleControl
Operatethethrottlecontrolinaforwarddirectionto
increasetheenginespeed.Operatethethrottlecontrol
inarearwarddirectiontoreduceenginespeed(Figure7).
Note:Theenginespeeddictatesthespeedoftheother
functions,i.e.travel,cuttingcylinderrotationspeedand
cutterheadliftspeed.
