Beforepreforminganymaintenanceensuretheengineisswitchedtooffandtheignitionkeyisremoved,theparking
brakeisset,thereisnopressureinthehydraulicsystem,thecutterheadsaredownonthegroundandthesafety
precautionsinthismanualhavebeenreadandunderstood.
CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineandseriouslyinjure
youorotherbystanders.
Removethekeyfromtheignitionbeforeyoudoanymaintenance.
Important:Regularmaintenanceisessentialforthecontinuedsafeoperationofthemachine.Correct
servicingwillprolongtheworkinglifeofthemachineandsafeguardtheWarranty.Alwaysusegenuine
TOROservicepartsastheseareaccuratelymatchedtotherequiredduty.
Dirtandcontaminationaretheenemiesofanyhydraulicsystem.Whencarryingoutmaintenanceproceduresonthe
hydraulicsystemalwaysensurethattheworkareaandthecomponentsarethoroughlycleanbefore,duringandafter
retting.Ensurethatallopenhydrauliclinesandports,etc.arepluggedduringmaintenanceprocedures.
Therecommendedserviceintervalsarebasedonnormaloperatingconditions.Severeorunusualconditionswill
necessitateshorterserviceintervals.
Alwaysgreasethepivotpointsimmediatelyafterpressurewashingorsteamcleaning.
WARNING
Theengine,transmissionoilandhydraulicsystemswillbehotaftermachineuse.Allowthesystemstocool
beforeworkingonthemachine,particularlybeforeworkingontheengineorwhenchangingoiloroillters.
