Thereareanumberoffactorsthatcanaffecttheperformanceofgrooming.
Thesefactorsvaryfordifferentgolfcoursesandfromfairwaytofairway.It
isimportanttoinspecttheturffrequentlyandvarythegroomingpracticewith
turfneeds.

toofrequentgrooming)maycauseunnecessarystressontheturf

9.Theoverallturfmanagementprogram–irrigation,fertilizing,weedcontrol,
coring,over-seeding,sanddressing,diseasecontrol,andpestcontrol.
10.Stressperiodsforturf–hightemperatures,highhumidity,andunusually
hightrafc.
