1.Ifrubberbushing(item2inFigure72)wasremovedfromeithersideplate,
applygreasetooutsidesurfaceofnewbushingandinstallintosideplate
(1).Thebushing(4)shouldbeinstalledushwiththeinsidesurfaceofthe
sideplate;refertoFigure72.
2.Ifremoved,installthenylonbushings(4)withangefacingoutward;refer
toFigure72.
3.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothethreadsandshankofeachbedbarbolt(7);
refertoFigure72.
CAUTION
Contactwiththereel,bedknifeorothercuttingunitpartscanresult
inpersonalinjury.Useheavygloveswhenhandlingthebedbar.
Note:Ifanewbedknifeisattachedtothebedbar,theremaybeinterference
betweenthebedknifeandthereelwheninstallingthebedbar.Turnthe
bedbaradjustingscrewscounterclockwisetoincreasebedknifeclearance
ifnecessary.
4.Positionthebedbarassembly(8)intothecuttingunit.Makesurethatthetop
ofeachbedbararmisbetweenthewasher(9)andadjusterscrewange(7).
IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingthewashers,makesurethattheplasticwashers(6
and15)arepositionedagainstthesideplate.
5.Positiononeplasticwasher(item4inFigure72)betweenthebedbar(16)
andeachsideplate(1).
6.Slideametalwasher(item5inFigure72)ontothebedbarbolt(7).
