InstallingtheBedbarAdjuster
1.Ifpreviouslyremoved,securethedetent(3)tothesideplate(12)withthe
bolt(4).
2.Ifpreviouslyremoved,alignthekeyontheangebushings(2)totheslotsin
thecuttingunitsideplate(12)andinstall.
3.Slideadjustershaft(1)intoangebushings(2)andsecurewithawave
washer(5)andaretainingring(6).
Note:Thebedbaradjustershaft(1)hasleft-handthreads.
4.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothethreadsofthebedbaradjusterscrew(7)
thattintoadjustershaft(1)(thelefthandthreads)andthreadthebedbar
adjusterscrewintotheadjustershaft.
5.Installthewasher(9),compressionspring(10)andlocknut(11)ontothe
adjusterscrew(7).
6.Installthebedbar(8);refertoInstallingtheBedbar(page8–6).
