Ifyouarereplacingthebearings,ensurethatyouusethespacerring
thatisincludedwithanewbearingset;refertoFigure50.
7.Slidethespacerringandinnerbearingspacerintothespindlehousing,
theninstalltheupperbearingconeandoilsealintothetopofthehousing.
Theuppersealmusthavethelipfacingin(down).Also,installupperseal
soitisushto1.5mm(0.060inch)recessedtothehousingsurface;refer
toFigure52.
8.Examinethespindleshaftandshaftspacertoensurethattherearenoburrs
ornicksthatcoulddamagetheoilseals.Lubricatetheshaftandspacer
withgrease.
9.Installthespindleshaftspacerontotheshaft.Placeathinsleeveortapeon
thespindleshaftsplinestopreventdamageofthesealduringtheinstallation
oftheshaftandcarefullyslidethespindleshaftwiththespacerupthrough
thespindlehousing.
Note:Thebottomoilsealandspindlespacerttogetherwhenthespindle
isfullyinstalled.
