Theheightofcutisadjustablefrom1-1/2to4-1/2
inches(38to114mm)in1/2inch(13mm)increments,
byaddingorremovinganequalnumberofspacers
fromthefrontandrearcastorforks.Theheight-of-cut
chartbelowgivesthecombinationsofspacerstouse
forallheight-of-cutsettings.

Starttheengineandraisethecuttingunitsothatthe
height-of-cutcanbechanged.Stoptheengineafter
thecuttingunitisraised.
1inch(25mm)height-of-cutcanbeattainedby
modifyingthecastorforksasfollows:
1.Removethefrontandrearcastorforksfromthe
cuttingdeckandremovethewheelsfromtheforks.
2.Drilloutthe0.438inchdiameterholes(
Figure11
&Figure12)ineachsideofthecastorforksto0.50
inchor0.516inchdiameter.
3.Usingthenewholes,installthecastorwheelsonthe
forksandinstalltheforksonthedeck.
Note:Theheight-of-cutdecalwillnowbeoffby
1/2inch(13mm)forspacerplacementandthe
height-of-cutwillbe1to4inches(25to102mm).

1.Removethetensioningcapfromthespindleshaft
andslidethespindleoutofthefrontcastorarm.
Removethewasherfromthespindleshaft.Slide
thespacersontothespindleshafttogetdesiredthe
height-of-cut,thenslidethewasherontotheshaft
(
Figure11).
2.Pushthecastorspindlethroughthefrontcastor
arm,installtheotherthrustwasherandremaining
spacersontothespindle,andinstallthetensioning
captosecuretheassembly(Figure11).

sameheight-of-cut.
