Inanemergency,youcanmovethemachine
forwardbyactuatingthebypassvalveinthe
variable-displacementhydraulicpumpandpushingor
towingthemachine.
Important:Donotpushortowthemachinefaster
than3to4.8km/h(2to3mph).Ifyoupushortow
atafasterspeed,internaltransmissiondamage
mayoccur.
Thebypassvalvesmustbeopenwheneveryou
pushortowthemachine.
1.Locatethebypassvalveontheleftsideofthe
hydrostat(Figure63).

bypassinternally.
Note:Becausetheuidisbypassed,the
machinecanbemovedslowlywithoutdamaging
thetransmission.

thebypassvalve.T orquethevalveto11N∙m
(5to8ft-lb).
Important:Ensurethatthebypassvalveis
closedbeforeyoustarttheengine.Running
theenginewithanopenbypassvalvecauses
thetransmissiontooverheat.
