Fuel Filter and Hose Replacement
- Fuel is Extremely Flammable - Use Extreme Caution When Servicing the Fuel System
1. Drain the fuel tank into an approved container.
NOTE: Ensure fuel system contains no fuel to prevent leak when the fuel filter is replaced.
2. If necessary, remove air filter cover and base as outlined in this manual.
3. Release the fuel filter / fuel hose clamps (A) and remove the hose from the fittings.
4. Remove the fuel filter from the fuel tank fitting.
5. Install the new fuel filter, fuel hose and hose clamps (A).
6. Re-fill tank with fresh fuel.
7. Verify hose routing and check for leaks.
8. Properly dispose of any unused fuel.
