2. Engine Pulley
Apply a light coat of anti-seize to engine crankshaft,
before installing engine pulley.
Apply Loctite® 243 to the threads of the engine
mounting studs.

Pulley groves, item 2, need to be dry and free of oil,
anti-seize or other lubricants.
Torque engine pulley bolt to 170 ± 15 in-lbs. (19.5 ±
1.7 Nm) When inspecting the proper torque, torque
must be checked immediately before Loctite® 243 sets
up.
