Transmission Removal
Removal
1. Remove the upper shroud. Remove the bolt holding
the upper belt cover (Figure 35).
2. Tip blower forward resting the auger housing on a
protective mat. Remove the fasteners holding the
lower belt cover in place. Remove the cover (Figure
36).
3. Remove the tensioner spring.
4. Remove the wheels from the axles.
5. Slide the transmission to the right. Work the belt
over the pulley (Figure 37).
6. Remove the belt from the crankshaft pulley (Figure
38).
7. Slide the belt out.
