9. Install the extension spring on the idler arm as-
sembly post (Fig. 274).

10. Using a spring tool (Toro part number 92-5771),
install the other end of the extension spring onto the
spring post located at the rear of the mower deck
(Fig. 275).

11. Install the mower deck onto the machine. Refer to
“Mower Deck Installation” on page 5-19.
