Neutral Adjustment
1. Raise the rear end of the machine and support it on
jack stands (Fig. 494).
4. Remove the bolt and nut retaining the seat stop
cable to the seat plate (Fig. 496).

2. Run the engine and operate the drive system for 10
minutes to warm up the transaxles. Shut the engine
off.
3. Raise the seat. Unplug the seat switch and tempor-
arily connect a jumper wire across the plug connect-
or (Fig. 495).

5. Engage the park brake and start the machine.
Release the park brake once the engine starts to
run. Ensure the forward/reverse handles are in the
neutral (out) position (Fig. 497).
