2. Position the fuel tank on the side of the seat box
assembly. Loosely install a carriage bolt and nut
securing the lower front corner of the fuel tank to the
frame. (Fig. 036).
4. Install a carriage bolt through the left hand rear tank
bracket and the bottom, rear fuel tank mounting
hole. Loosely install a washer, spring, and nut onto
the carriage bolt (Fig. 038).

3. Install a carriage bolt through the left hand tank
mount bracket and the top front fuel tank mounting
hole. Loosely install a washer, spring, and nut onto
the carriage bolt (Fig. 037).

5. Tighten the two nuts with the springs until two full
threads of the bolt stick out past the nut (Fig. 039).
