1. Remove fuser unit. (See Fig. 14-7-1)
2. Remove heater thermistor. (See Fig. 14-7-2)
3. Remove the housing assembly.
(See Fig. 14-7-10)
4. Remove the heat roller separator.
(See Fig. 14-7-8)
5. Release the heater cover assembly.
(See Fig.14-7-14)
6. Remove 2 screw and detach the heater lamp
holder.
7. Remove the HR drive gear 1.
8. Remove the outer HR drive gear 3 and the in-
ner HR drive gear 3.
Note: When the HR drive gear 1, outer HR drive
gear 3 or inner HR drive gear 3 is replaced,
apply 0.1g of white grease (molykote HP-
300) to each stud and gear teeth.
Also, the same amount of grease should be
applied to the part between the heater lamp
holder and HR drive gear 3, and heater lamp
holder and outer HR drive gear 3.
