(4) Adjust the background peak of range correction to lighten the copy image.
• Use steps (a) to (b) to adjust the background peak of range correction.
(a) Enter adjustment mode [05]. Change the values for codes [570/572] or [693/695] to set the background
peak of range correction to "fixed."
• The code to use varies according to the density option (auto or manual), original mode, (Text/Photo or
Text) and use of the RADF (MR-3018). Adjust the value for [05] code corresponding to the condition
for which you would like to improve the image quality and set "1" in the one’s or the ten’s place.
