3.17 To Decrease the Image Density and Save Toner
(To Print in the Toner Save Mode)

Default printing. Printing is performed, while the toner is
being saved.
Explanation
The e-STUDIO2040C/2540C/3040C/3540C/4540C offers a toner save mode. It is intended to automatically
decrease the image density and reduce the amount of toner used. Change the option on the printer driver and
perform printing in the toner save mode, for instance, if a large number of copies have to be printed, or if the
image density is too high.
Procedures
* Both the service technician and the user can perform all adjustments.
