126 Setting the Color and Image Quality
Preventing gaps from appearing during printing
Set overprint and auto trapping to prevent gaps from appearing during printing.
Only available when your equipment is a multifunctional digital color system (color MFP).

Select [Print] from the [File] menu of the application.

Set the following items from the [Color Settings 1] menu.
Black Overprint: Select when printing background content that has black text overlaid on it. This minimizes the
gap between the text and the background which prevents color deviation.
Off: Prints without overprinting.
Text: Prints the full-color background and then the black text on a color background.
Text and Graphics
: Prints the full-color background and then the black text and graphics on a color
background.
PostScript Overprint: Select to overprint an object that has been set in an application.
This option is only available when [Auto] or [Color] is selected in [Color Type] from the [Color Settings 1] menu.
Auto Trapping: Enables Auto Trapping. This modifies the size of objects so that two colors printed next to each
other overlap slightly to avoid white spaces.
This function is available only for e-STUDIO5005AC Series.

Set other print functions, and then select this equipment from [Printer].

Click [Print] to send the job.
