Printing light text across a document (Watermark)
You can overprint documents with useful information, such as [Confidential], [Draft], [Proof], and [Top Secret]. This
allows you to classify documents so that you can understand their type and usage. You can choose from several
predefined watermarks or you can create your own watermarks. Watermarks are text only.
The watermark menu is displayed when the Plug-in file is installed on your Mac. For instructions on installing the Plug-
in file, see the Software Installation Guide.

Select [Print] from the [File] menu of the application.

Set the details in the [Watermark] menu.
Text: Select the watermark. You can also create a new watermark.
You can enter up to 63 alphanumeric characters. If too many characters are entered, the watermark may not be
printed correctly.
Font: Select the font.
Size: Enter the font size.
You can enter a number between 6 and 300 pt in units of 1 pt. You can also use the scroll bar.
Angle: Enter the rotation degree of the angle.
The angle can be set from 0 to 360 degrees in units of 1 degree. You can also set this by moving the scroll bar.
Color: Select the color.
When [Mono] is selected in [Color Type] from the [Color Settings 1] menu, documents are printed with a shade of
gray instead of the selected color.
Print over the document: Prints the watermark above everything.
Print under the document: Prints the watermark under everything.
Position: Adjust the position by moving the scroll bars.

Set other print functions, and then select this equipment from [Printer].

Click [Print] to send the job.
