Placing Paper and Originals
This section explains how to set paper and originals. Incorrect setting causes image skews or paper misfeeds. Follow the
procedure below.

Pull out the drawer and release the side
guide’s lock.

Set the side guide to match the paper
width.

Lock the side guides.

Aer fanning the paper, place it face up.

Set the end guide to match the paper
size and then slowly push in the drawer.
Check that the height of the paper does not exceed
the MAX line on the side guides.
Placing paper
Be careful not to catch your fingers when pushing
the drawer back.
This could cause an injury.
