Operation lamp
Operation lamp ( ) is blinking slowly.
It is not a fault
•
For a power failure during operation (including Timer On setting), the lamp illuminates
when the power is supplied again. When the button in the remote control is pressed
once, the operation starts and the blinking changes to illuminate.
Re-select the timer when the power resumes since the timer settings are cancelled
during a power failare.

If a noise is heard
Indoor unit
When the power turn on, start or stop the
operation of air conditioner.
These are not failures
•
Noise of initial position setting of vertical direction louvers.
When the air conditioner is operating.
•
A splashing noise may sound from the ionizer during air purifying.
•
When the flow of refrigerant is switched, a sloshing noise may sound.
•
When parts expand or shrink as the temperature changes, a sloshing noise sounds.
•
When the refrigerant flows, noise of rustling sounds.
Others
•
Hissing may sound if the outside wind is strong while the operation is stopped.
•
Bubblingnoisefromthedrainagepipeisthenoisefromexternalairowingintothe
room through the drainage pipe. It is caused when the ventilation fan is operated in
an air tight room.
Sound comes from the plasma ion charger.
Consult us
For a failure of the plasma ion charger or the ionizer unit, consult the supplying
retail dealership or the Toshiba Service Center.
The plasma ion charger has high voltage poles. DO NOT inspect or repair yourself since
these are dangerous.
