Cable wiring
System power supply cable
Insert the power supply cable of the 24V system power supply from VPSUX1 to the power
connector of UIOU51. Insert it fully until it clicks.
CAUTION
•
Do not ground the common signal (0V) of the 24V system power supply.
•
Doing so may cause errors in module operation depending on the installation
environment.
Serial bus cable
Remove the screws of the terminal block. Secure the crimp contact of the serial bus cable by
using the screws.

CAUTION
•
Secure the wiring of the thermistor cable with an Insulok
so that the tip of the thermistor is close to the terminal
block screw to which the thermocouple compensating
lead is connected.
•
If the tip of the thermistor is separated from the screw
of the terminal block, input precision may be degraded.
•
If the temperature of the tip of the thermistor changes
due to opening/closing of the housing door or convection
in the housing, cover the thermistor tip with a resin cap.
•
Protect the lead wire of the thermistor with an insulating
tube.
•
Use a 1-pair twisted pair line of 1.25mm
2
or more as the
extension cable of the thermistor.
•
Connect the shielded line of the extension cable of the
thermistor to the dedicated grounding line of the housing.
