Introduction
The next generation Toshiba Integrated Control System TOSDIC-CIE DS is an integrated production
system that combines the de-facto standard and Toshiba's original control technology. In addition to
Toshiba's advanced control technology and computer technology, a standard multi-vendor network and
easy-to-use integrated engineering tools are adopted to achieve a highly reliable system in an open
environment.
This manual describes the specifications and handling method of the TOSDIC VPCPX2 and the I/O system
components that correspond to I/O cards.
The following figure shows an example of system configuration when TOSDIC-AS is updated to
CIEMAC-DS.
