No sound is played back from the source device connected to input IN1
Cause:
The input selector switch (XLR or Cinch) on the the backpanel of the unit is not in the correct position.
Remedy:
To use the RCA inputs the switch must be set to „UNBAL, for XLR the switch must be set to „BAL.
No output signal at the loudspeakers; the LED above the button ashes
(the PROTECTION circuit has tripped)
Cause 1:
Short-circuit in the speaker leads, e. g. stray wire ends touching at the speaker terminals, or mechanical
damage to the cables.
Remedy:
Check speaker leads and terminals, twist wire ends together neatly, replace damaged cables..
Cause 2:
The PROTECTION circuit has tripped due to overheating or overloading.
Remedy:
Reduce volume and wait for about 20 seconds. If the unit does not switch on again automatically, it has
become too hot and should be left switched off for a few minutes to cool down.
Cause 3:
Overloading due to poor earth contact.
Remedy:
Disconnect input cable and wait to see if the amplier switches back on again; if so, check the input lead
and replace if necessary.
No audio les can be played from a Windows computer connected via USB
Cause:
For the playback via USB from a Windows PC drivers must be installed.
Remedy:
Download the driver package from the T+A homepage and install it as described in the installation
instructions.
One or more sources cannot be selected using the source selection buttons on
the device and the remote control.
Cause:
The source in question has been disabled.
Remedy:
Select the source using the source selection rocker on the FM11 remote control and then activate it if
necessary by briey pressing the button on the FM11.
