6.7 Preset adjustment function
Risk of injury and damage to property by an actual value jump when the
Preset adjustment function is performed!
The preset adjustment function should only be performed when the
measuring system is at rest, otherwise the resulting actual value jump must
be permitted in the program and application!
The measuring system can be adjusted to an arbitrary position value in the range 0 to
(measurement length in steps - 1) via the PROFINET. This is achieved via an acyclic
write service to the input module with record index “2”.
The preset adjustment value sent in the data bytes is adopted as position value when
the write service is executed.
