3.2 Tablet PC and Metaware software
The tablet PC is a rugged, waterproof PC with a rechargeable battery, using a
Windows 10 Enterprise operating system. A 3G SIM card can also be installed
by the user to provide remote internet connectivity. The 10.1” touch screen
can be used with the attached stylus or by hand.
The PC is pre-loaded with the Trace2o Metaware software. This is essentially
a Windows-based control panel which controls the instrument and provides a
graphical representation of the data (voltammogram) allowing the user to
accurately analyse the data. The built in linear regression function provides
the user with a comprehensive way to record results and calculate the
unknown sample concentrations.
