SAFETY WARNING

Only qualified personnel should install and service the equipment. The installation,

starting up, and servicing of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning equipment

installed, adjusted or altered equipment by an unqualified person could result in

the literature and on the tags, stickers, and labels that are attached to the

equipment.

Time Setup

To change the current time:

1. From the Home screen, press

3. Press and hold

for 2 seconds or wait 10 seconds to Save and Exit.

Fan Mode

The fan mode is displayed only on systems configured with the fan

enabled.

For systems configured with a fan, the fan setting is shown on the

display. In addition,

the setting also appears on the display when

pressing

, , from the Home screen.

The fan mode setting can be overridden by pressing

or when the

fan mode flashes. Press and hold

for 2 seconds or wait 10 seconds

to Save and

Exit. Refer to the section, “Timed Override (TOV)”.

Important: When this thermostat is configured in

programmable mode (0140=1), then changing the Fan

Mode from the Home screen puts the thermostat into

Timed Override (TOV) and is

only temporary. The fan

goes back to the schedule setting after the TOV timer

expires.

Timed Override (TOV)

A timed override can be used to temporarily change the heating

setpoint, cooling setpoint, fan mode, and/or occupancy setting from the

programmed schedule. The override can be set for up to 99 days and up

to 23 hours.

To enter a timed override:

1. From the operating screen, press

or 2 times.The thermostat

enters timed override mode with the hourglass

and setpoint

flashing.

2. Press

or press or to move from either left or right through

the selections. Some of the selections may not be available

3. Press or to change the value of the currently active (flashing)

selections. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the desired settings.

Note: To reach the DAYS setting, the user must press

for 2 seconds or wait 10 seconds to Save and Exit.

Note: The thermostat will return to the scheduled operation when:

• pressing and holding

an for 2 seconds.



Important: When in timed override mode, if the system

selection is changed (EmHeat, Heat, Cool, Auto, OFF), this

change will take the thermostat out of TOV mode.

Important: Whenever the thermostat is in TOV mode, a

solid hour glass ( ) indicator displays at the bottom of the

screen.



Schedule Change Mode Timers:
- Initial button presses: within 10 seconds of the previous button.
- Within Schedule Change Mode: within 45 seconds of the previous button.

Usage Features:

Time Setup:
- Allows adjustment of hours and minutes.
- Pressing + increases the value, ✓ decreases it.
- Saving: Press and hold for 2 seconds or wait 10 seconds.
System Mode Setup:
- Access: Press the mode icon from the operating screen.
- Selection: Use ^ or v to choose between Emergency Heat, Heat, Cool, Auto H/C, and Off.
- Saving: Press and hold for 2 seconds or wait 10 seconds.
- Note: Not all system choices may be available depending on the system configuration (0130).
Fan Mode:
- Display: Only on systems configured with fan enabled.
- Access: Press ✓ from the Home screen.
- Override: Press ^ or v when the fan mode flashes.
- Saving: Press and hold for 2 seconds or wait 10 seconds.
- Important: In programmable mode (0140=1), changing fan mode from the Home screen initiates a temporary Timed Override (TOV). The fan reverts to the schedule after the TOV timer expires.
Timed Override (TOV):
- Function: Temporarily changes heating setpoint, cooling setpoint, fan mode, and/or occupancy setting from the programmed schedule.
- Access: Press ^ or v two times from the operating screen.
- Indicators: Hourglass icon and flashing setpoint.
- Adjustment: Use ^ or v to navigate selections (left/right) and change values.
- Saving: Press and hold for 2 seconds or wait 10 seconds.
- Exit: Override ends when time expires or by pressing and holding an for 2 seconds.
- Important: Changing the system selection (EmHeat, Heat, Cool, Auto, OFF) while in TOV mode will exit TOV mode. A solid hourglass indicator displays when in TOV mode.
Schedule Creation/Editing:
- Access: Press the schedule icon.
- Navigation: Use ^ or v to select days, periods, start times, heating setpoints, cooling setpoints, and fan settings.
- Confirmation: Press the schedule icon to continue after each selection.
- Start Time Adjustment: Use ^ or v to change the time.
- Setpoint Adjustment: Use ^ or v to change temperature values.
- Fan Setting: Select Auto or On.
- Repeat: Steps 2-7 must be repeated for each day and period.
- Exit: Wait 45 seconds or press and hold for 2 seconds to save and exit.
- Schedule Change Mode Timers: Initial button presses must be within 10 seconds; subsequent presses within Schedule Change Mode must be within 45 seconds.
- Default Schedules: The manual includes a detailed table of default 2-period and 4-period schedules for different days (Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa, Su) with specific times, heating/cooling setpoints, and fan modes (all Auto).
