Flared coupling of the refrigerant pipe
Cutting of the pipe should be carried out by using a pipe cutter. If the pipe size is too large, a •
metal cut saw may be used, but prevent saw dust entering into the pipe;
Only the fl are nut attached to the unit may be used. Before fl aring, fi rst mount the nut on the •
copper tube;
Check whether there are damages on the fl ared surface. After the mouth of the copper tube is •
fl ared, keep concentric. Burr, cracks, folding, etc. are not allowed;
When coupling the fl are opening, apply ester oil or ether oil to inner and outer surfaces of the •
opening, and fi rst screw the nut by 3 ~ 4 turns;
Tighten the fl are nut by a proper torque, but do not damage the nut because of excessive torque. •
Hold the pipe with two spanners.
