Applications for SCC Mode
AO: Analog Output
The analog output on the MP501 is a 0–10 Vdc output with a maximum current draw of 10 mA from
the connected device. Figure 7, p. 17 shows a wiring diagram with the MP501 in this configuration.
Note: Th
e MP501 will control
only one actuator. You cannot have both a 0–10 Vdc actuator and a
tri-state modulating actuator connected to the controller at the same time.
Overriding Outputs
The MP501 includes a manual output test. Use this feature to manually control the outputs in a
defined sequence. Refer to the section, “Manual Output Test,” p. 43.
Wiring Diagrams
The following figures show the MP501 outputs wired in three different ways. Figure 5, p. 16 shows
the MP501 controlling a tri-state modulating actuator. The MP501 controlling staged outputs is
shown in Figure 6, p. 17. Figure 7, p. 17 shows an application with the MP501 controlling an analog
(0–10 Vdc) actuator.
