to the front of the panel and fixed with the four studs in the corners of the
Keypad. A depth of 50mm behind the front panel is needed to mount the Key-
pad, with an extra 50mm clearance for the fibre optic connector on the back.
Connection of Mini-Membrane Keypad
The connections are identical to the membrane keypad.
Programming the Membrane Keypad
The Keypads make use of standard Trio BASIC commands to write to the dis-
play and read from the keypad. The output /input device should be specified
as 4 or 3 in any PRINT, GET, or KEY statement E.G.
>>PRINT#4,"Hello"
Alternatively the membrane keypad can be used as part of a network, in which
case see chapter 11 for further details.
