If the indicator light remains on it
indicates that the immobiliser has a
malfunction that requires investigation.
Contact an authorised Triumph dealer
as soon as possible to have the fault
checked and rectified.
With Alarm Fitted
The immobiliser/alarm light will only
illuminate when the conditions described
in the genuine Triumph accessory alarm
instructions are met.
ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System)
Warning Light
The ABS warning light
illuminates to show that the ABS
function is not available. Illumination is
normal after engine start up, and until
the motorcycle first reaches a speed
exceeding 6 mph (10 km/h). Unless there
is a fault, it should not illuminate again
until the engine is restarted.
If the warning light becomes illuminated
at any other time while riding it
indicates that the ABS has a
malfunction that requires investigation.
Warning
If the ABS is not functioning, the brake
system will continue to function as a
non-ABS braking system.
Do not continue to ride for longer than
is necessary with the indicator light
illuminated.
Contact an authorised Triumph dealer
as soon as possible to have the fault
checked and rectified. In this situation
braking too hard will cause the wheels
to lock resulting in loss of motorcycle
control and an accident.
Traction Control (TC) Indicator Light
The TC indicator light is used to
indicate that the traction control
system is active and is working to limit
rear wheel slip during periods of hard
acceleration or under wet or slippery
road conditions.
Warning
If the traction control is not functioning,
care must be taken when accelerating
and cornering on wet/slippery road
surfaces to avoid rear wheel spin. Do
not continue to ride for longer than is
necessary with the Engine Management
System Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)
and traction control warning lights
illuminated. Contact an authorised
Triumph dealer as soon as possible to
have the fault checked.
