Note:
When using the side stand, always
turn the handlebars fully to the left
and leave the motorcycle in first
gear.
Whenever the side stand is used, before
riding, always make sure that the stand
is fully up after first sitting on the
motorcycle.
For instructions on safe parking, refer
to the 'How to Ride the Motorcycle'
section.
Side Panels
The left hand side panel can be removed
to gain access to the fuse box,
adjustment tool and inspection cap tool.
To remove either side panel:
• Grasp the panel firmly in both
hands and pull the lower edge
of the panel away from the
motorcycle until the spigot clears
the retaining grommet (leaving the
grommet in place).
Slide the side panel rearwards and
lift the side panel clear of the
locating tangs.
To refit either side panel:
Slide the side panel forwards whilst
place the locating tangs into the
side panel locating slots.
Position the spigot to the grommet.
Press firmly to secure the panel.
Grasp the panel and make sure
that it is fully retained.
