PULSE: Press the “MODE” button until “PULSE” appears. Before measuring your
pulse rate, please place the palm of your hands on both of the contact
pads. The monitor will show your current heart beat rate in beats per
minute (BPM) on the LCD after 6-7 seconds.
User may set up target pulse from 40 to 240, and the Console buzzer will
beep when the actual heart rate is over or under the target value
during workout.
* During the process of pulse measurement, due to contact jamming, the
measurement value may be higher than the virtual pulse rate during the
rst 2-3 seconds, and will thereafter return to normal. The measurement
value cannot be regarded as the basis for medical treatment.
NOTE
1. If the display is faint or does not display gures, please replace
the batteries.
2. The monitor will automatically switch off after 4 minutes if no signal
is received.
