How to Use Spray Tips
The quick-connect on the nozzleextension allows you to
switch betweenfour different quick connect spray tips. Spray
tips can be changed while pressurewasher is running once
spray gun trigger lock is engaged.The spray tips vary the
spray pattern as shown.
Low Pressure
Black

chemical
High Pressure
40° White 15° Yellow 0° Red
Followthese instructionsto changespraytips:
1. Pull back collar on quick-connect and pull current
spray tip off. Store spray tips in holder provided on the
accessorytray.
_i, WARNING The high pressure stream of water that
this equipment produces can cut through skin
and its underlying tissues, leadingto serious
injury and possible amputation.
NEVERexchangespraytipswithoutthetriggerlockedonthe
spraygun.
DONOTtwist spraytips whilespraying.
2. Select desired spray tip:
For delicate rinse (lower pressure and higher flow), for
gentle cleaningof cars/trucks, boats, RV's, patio
furniture, lawn equipment, etc., selectwhite 40° spray
tip.
For general rinsing (medium pressure and medium
flow), idealfor most all purposecleaning such as home
siding, brick patios, wood decks, driveways and
sidewalks, garagefloors, etc., select yellow 15° spray
tip.
For maximum rinsing (higher pressure and lower flow),
for stubborn or hard to reach surfacesuch assecond
story surfaces, paint removal, oil stains, rust removal
or other stubborn substances (tar, gum, grease,wax,
etc.), select red 0° spray tip.
To apply detergent, applies project specific cleanersto
help break down stubborn dirt and grime on a variety of
surfaces, selectblack detergent spray tip.
3. Pull back on collar, insert new spray tip and release
collar. Tug on spray tip to make sure it is securely in
place.
UsageTips
For most effective cleaning, keep spray tip from 8 to
24 inches (20 to 61 cm) awayfrom cleaning surface.
If you get spray tip too close, especiallyusing a high
pressure spray tip, you may damage surface being
cleaned.
DO NOTget closer than 6 inches (15 cm) when
cleaningtires.
Cleaning and Applying Detergent
_i, CAUTION Chemicals can cause bodily injury, and/or
property damage.
NEVERusecaustic liquid with pressure washer.
Use ONLYpressure washer safe detergents/soaps. Follow all
manufacturers instructions.
To applydetergent,follow these steps:
1. Reviewuse of spray tips.
2. Preparedetergent solution as required by job.
3. Make sure detergent shut-off valve on cleaningtank is
in "Off" position.
4. Pour detergent into cleaningtank.
NOTE:The cleaningtank holds one gallon.
5. Make sure black spray tip is installed.
NOTE:Detergentcannot beapplied with the high pressure
spray tips (White, Yellow or Red).
6. Make sure garden hose is connectedto water inlet.
Checkthat high pressure hose is connected to spray
gun and pump. Turn on water.
NOTICE You must attach all hoses beforeyou start the
engine.
Startingthe enginewithoutallthe hosesconnectedandwithout
thewaterturnedONwill damagethepump.
Damageto equipmentresultingfromfailuretofollowthis
instructionwill voidwarranty.
7. Start enginefollowing instructions How to Start Your
Pressure Washer.
8. Rotatedetergent shut-off valve on cleaningtank to "On"
position (A).
