What to do if my Troy-Bilt Snow Blower fails to discharge snow?
- KKevin AguilarJul 26, 2025
If your Troy-Bilt Snow Blower isn't discharging snow, here's what you can check: 1. The chute assembly might be clogged. Stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and use a clean-out tool or stick to clear the chute and inside the auger housing. 2. There could be a foreign object stuck in the auger. Immediately stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire, and remove the object. 3. The auger control cable might be out of adjustment. In this case, you should adjust the auger control cable. 4. The auger belt could be loose or damaged, requiring you to replace the auger belt.
