ADVANCED CONSOLE FUNCITONS (continued):
Entering Maintenance Mode:
Maintenance Mode is used to troubleshoot issues and to test console functions. To enter Maintenance Mode, press and
hold the Clear Entry button (A) until the console beeps. Then immediately press and hold the Enter button (B) until
“ENTER PASS CODE” is displayed on the Upper LCD Display (C). Use the Numeric Keypad (D) to enter 20173 and then
press the Enter button (B). To scroll through the available options, use the up and down incline quick access keys. Options
can be selected by pressing the start quick access key. To return to the list of options, press the stop quick access key.
When finished, remove and replace the safety key to return to the home screen.
Maintenance Mode Functions:
Displays the current software version of the console.
Displays the accumulated amount of time that the console has been in use.
The approximate distance in miles that the unit has been used.
A count of how many programs have been used.
Illuminates all LCD segments to allow the user to check for faulty LCD’s.
Allows for a test of the contact and/or telemetry heart rate system.
Allows the user to test the console’s contrast.
Allows the user to test the console’s backlight.
Enters Calibration mode to allow a test of the units drive system.
Displays the Smart Card firmware version.
Tests the functions of the unit’s keypads.
Tests for RPM feedback from the speed sensor.
Tests the function of the safety key system.
Displays the usage stats for each program.
