What to do if my True M30 Treadmill resets randomly?
    • D
      Deborah MoyerAug 16, 2025
If your True Treadmill is randomly resetting or pausing, there could be several reasons. A damaged power cord could be the culprit, so try replacing it. Also, ensure the power cord is fully seated in the socket at both the unit and the outlet. Make sure the safety e-stop key is fully engaged with the console. Insufficient power from the outlet could also cause this, so verify the output voltage from the 20A outlet using a voltmeter. User weight must be over 90lbs. Verify No User Present settings in console.

Why is my True Treadmill not getting power?
    • S
      Steven McdanielAug 18, 2025
Your True Treadmill might not be getting power for several reasons. First, ensure the On/Off switch is in the ON position. Check the power cord to see if it is damaged and replace it if necessary. Make sure the power cord is fully seated in the socket at both the unit and the outlet. Use a voltmeter to verify that there is power at the outlet. Finally, check the circuit breaker next to the On/Off switch to ensure it hasn't tripped; if it has, reset it.

Why is the heart rate displaying erratically on my True M30 Treadmill?
    • C
      Carol VegaAug 22, 2025
Erratic or absent heart rate readings on your True Treadmill can stem from several issues. Ensure the transmitter belt contacts are making good contact with your skin and that the contacts are moist. Also, make sure the transmitter belt is within 3 feet (1 meter) of the heart rate receiver on the console. If the battery inside the transmitter belt is depleted, replace it with a compatible one. Another user nearby might be using a compatible transmitter strap, so try to increase the space between units. Environmental interference from high voltage power lines can also cause this; try moving the unit or the source of interference. If the source of interference is plugged into the same outlet move the suspect source to another outlet.

    • R
      Ricky MurraySep 8, 2025
A rubbing sound from your True Treadmill during operation can be due to a few reasons. The walking belt might be rubbing against a straddle cover, so try adjusting the belt tracking. Alternatively, a foreign object may be stuck under the walking belt; inspect under the unit and remove any objects you find.

Why is the heart rate displaying erratically on my True Elliptical Trainer?
    • K
      Kathleen TylerSep 12, 2025
If the heart rate display is erratic or non-existent on your True Elliptical Trainer, several factors could be at play. Start by ensuring the transmitter belt is making solid contact with your skin and is also adequately moistened. Check that you're within 3 feet (1 meter) of the console. Verify that your transmitter belt operates on the correct, un-encoded 4.8kHz frequency. If the issue persists, the transmitter belt battery might be depleted, necessitating a replacement. Interference can also arise if another user nearby is using a compatible transmitter strap; increasing the space between units may help. Lastly, environmental factors such as high voltage power lines can cause interference. Try relocating the unit or the source of interference, or using a different outlet.
