Download A Map
There are two ways you can get an update for a map:
• Latest Map Guarantee – If a new map for your system
is available within 90 days of first using the system,
you can download that map once for free.
• Map Update – You can buy a new version of the map
on your system.
To check if a map is available or to buy a map, make sure
you have prepared a USB device and installed TomTom
HOME on your computer.
Then connect your USB device to your computer.
Selecting a map to download
To check if you are entitled to a free map update using the
Latest Map Guarantee, select Tools > Use Latest Map
Guarantee in TomTom HOME.
To buy a Map Update, select Purchase Maps in TomTom
HOME.
If you have already bought an update, select Update my
Device in TomTom HOME.
Downloading a map
If a map update is available for your system, it is listed as
an available update.
NOTE: If you already have the latest map on your
system, you are not offered an update.
Select the map you want to download then select Update
and Install.
The map is downloaded and copied to your USB device.
Select Done when the process is finished.
