The control unit comparesthe signal receivedfrom the sensor and the threshold set, and
sends a close command to the actuators due to the presence of wind.
Aslongasthesignalfromthewindsensorexceedsthethresholdset,theclosecommanden-
joysprecedenceoverthemanualcommands,thethermostat,andtheCO2sensor.
Once5minuteshavepassedsincethesensor’ssignalreturnedtowithinthelimitssetbythe
threshold,themanualcommands,thermostat,andCO2sensorareenabledagain.
Thewindsensorsendsimpulsestothecontrolunittoindicatethewindspeed(seediagram5
onpage50).
Insidethecontrolunit,onthecircuitboard,thereisa7-posionselectorthatcanbeused
tosettherequiredwindalarmthreshold.Highervaluescorrespondtoahigherwindspeed
threshold.
Posions0to7correspondtothewindspeedontheBeaufortscale.Theselectorcomesin
posion“3”.
