12.17.4 Connecting to Console Failure (at Initialization)
If restarting the system does not resolve the issue, there can be several causes for this issues.
Check the serial cable connections:
• A.11.1 Check the Serial Cable Connection.
Check the serial card connection:
• 7.6.3 Replacing/Reseating Cards.
Replace defective serial card:
• 7.6.3 Replacing/Reseating Cards.
Check serial port configuration for corruption:
• A.13.3 Check Serial Port Configuration for Corruption.
Check display settings configuration.
12.17.5 System Hangs when Loading Maps (at Initialization)
The initialization process hangs when loading Maps:

If the initialization window hangs at this point in the process, there may be a modal window hidden behind the
Initialization window:

12.17.7 Successful Initialization but only 4DC7-3/40 Transducer is Detected
The system passes all error checks during initialization, but no transducers are detected except the 4DC7-3/40 (if it
is connected). Replace the front block or the Power board and/or the US Module. Call Ultrasonix Technical Support
for details on replacing the Power board and the US Module.
